Only up until a few decades ago Pisak was still a small fishing village. Today it is a popular travel destination located between Omiš and Makarska and surrounded by small bays and beaches. However, still today we live far away from the every day stress here in Pisak.
Pisak is an ideal starting point for one-day excursions to not less than three UNESCO-listed cities: Trogir,Split and Dubrovnik. It is also possible to make one-day trips to the different islands, Brac, Hvar or Korcula or to the Krka waterfalls. The small daily purchases you can do in Pisak: a short but beautiful walk in the morning will take you to the local corner shop. In the harbor you’ll find two smaller restaurants and two bars.
Who feels like visiting a concert or a disco in the evening or simply enjoying the summer atmosphere can go the approximately 15 km to the two small towns Omiš und Makarska.
